Providing Everything You Need
Our Home-Birth Service Includes:
1.
Home birth consultation
90-minute conference call where we learn about the mother, birth history, current pregnancy, family, and expectations ranging from prenatal to post-partum care.
2.
Prenatal Visit
Prenatal visits usually last between 30 – 60 minutes and will cover nutrition, diet, exercise, labs, vital signs, and medical history.
3.
HOME VISIT
A pre-birth home visit usually happens duirng the 36th week of pregnancy. It may be virtual or in-person and allows the birth attendant & assistant to get familiar with your home and answer questions you or your family may have.
4.
birth
We create a safe and empowering space for you to birth the way you choose. We encourage and offer suggestions for movement/positions if needed. You can birth in bed, a birth pool, or tub.
5.
After-Birth
Mama is assisted with breast-feeding and a relaxing herbal bath for her & baby. We clean up in the meantime and mama returns to clean, warm sheets. Three postpartum visits are offered after birth. 1st within 36 hours, 2nd within 48-72 hours, 3rd will be after the baby's first week.
Our Blessing Way Service Includes:
This is a beautiful Native American (Navaho/Hopi) ceremony to give an expecting mother who is approaching her due date. It’s a way for the mother’s circle of friends and family to gather to bless her as she gets ready for birth. It is a web of Traditional Native American infused with Tradition African rituals, songs and sacred gift givings which insures to anchor the mothers expectations, removes anxiety and fear as she undergoes this intentional spiritual rites of passage into motherhood.
Childbirth & Wisdom Consultations
Choosing a place to birth (home, hospital, birthing center, etc.) and the person to birth with (midwife, doula, or doctor) can be confusing. Lactation consultant, childbirth educators, pre-natal fitness, pediatricians are also services many women have questions about. Need help deciding which options are for you?
