4. Is birthing at home a guarantee?
We cannot guarantee that all births will end with a home-birth. You cannot "buy" a home-birth! We offer the Midwifery Model of Care, which sometimes requires a transfer of care for a safe birth for mother and/or baby. Some emergencies may require a hospital transfer, although that situation is rare. What's most important is a safe labor and delivery for mama and baby and we work to ensure that.

5. What is a doula vs. a midwife?
The doula a support person for the mom, there for mental well-being, natural pain management and to be an advocate for you during your birth. Midwives are health care providers/medical professionals that provide expert care for women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
